On October 16, 2023, CLF and Manchester NAACP submitted a questionnaire to the candidates running for mayor of Manchester, New Hampshire – Jay Ruais and Kevin Cavanaugh – to learn their views about environmental issues in the city. Neither CLF nor Manchester NAACP is endorsing a candidate in this race, nor do we endorse electoral candidates in any races.
The candidates were given until October 25 at 5:00 p.m. to respond to the questionnaire. They also were informed that if responses were received from just one candidate, we would go ahead with publishing that candidate’s responses.
On October 25, we received the following responses from Kevin Cavanaugh. No responses were received from Jay Ruais.
