It\u2019s my nature to create space for people to connect over food, flowers, and festivities. I\u2019m the sort of person who can put a themed party together in less than 30 minutes.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">However, as an Environmental Justice Legal Fellow at <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">the <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Conservation Law Foundation, my enthusiasm for event planning can clash with my convictions about reducing waste. After all, the waste we produce in th<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">is country<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> generally ends up incinerated or landfilled in environmental justice communities in the U.S. or poorer communities abroad.
