Multiple studies have shown that many Westerners just aren\u2019t eating enough fruits and vegetables. In 2017, for example, the Centers for Disease and Control (CDC) reported that only about one in 10 American adults are eating enough. And in 2022, another study by UK supermarket giant Sainsbury\u2019s revealed that 25 million Brits are also struggling to eat their \u201cfive a day.\u201d<\/p>\n
When asked why, the participants in the UK study noted that they often forget to add vegetables to all of their meals, or they simply don\u2019t know how to incorporate vegetables into meals outside of dinner.
