    India consists of more than 70% tigers and mark great biodiversity

    Before a bench of Justices K.M. Joseph and B.V. Nagarathna, Additional Solicitor General Aishwarya Bhati made the following argument on behalf of the Center: Significant work has been done to conserve tigers and increase their population, and as of right now, there are 2,967 of them.There are 2,967 tigers in the country, distributed among 53 tiger reserves, according to a 2018 report, the Central government informed the Supreme Court on Friday.
