Talking to Qatar Radio Wednesday, the event’s secretary-general Mohamed al-Khoury said that Expo 2023 Doha will be attended by government entities, private companies and universities that are expected to present research papers and display new farming methods including the technology to reduce water consumption and cooling the greenhouses.
The first International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH)-approved A1 World Horticultural Expo in the Middle East, will be open from October 2, 2023 to March 28, 2024. Al-Khoury said that efforts are on to ensure the participation of relevant bodies from across the world. Organisers have so far said that the expo has the capacity to host 80 countries.
