    Danish AM’s ESG head exits after less than 6 months

    Danish asset management firm BankInvest’s head of ESG, Thorsten Meyer Larsen, has resigned from his role after just five months.

    Meyer Larsen joined BankInvest in April from the Danish central bank, Nationalbanken, where he had spent over ten years in various managerial positions. 

    BankInvest has announced that Jakob Møller Petersen (pictured), currently head of risk and selection, will take over Meyer Larsen’s role.

    Møller Petersen joined BankInvest in 2011 as head of investment risk, and was assigned additional selection responsibilities in 2013. Since the start of 2022, he has been responsible for the implementation of ESG at BankInvest.

    In his new position, Møller Petersen will be responsible for overseeing BankInvest’s work with responsible investments and sustainability.
