The harmful effects of climate change disproportionately affect the poor and vulnerable. How can this be best mitigated? How can community engagement projects address climate justice?
How can the benefits of carbon reduction and net zero be equitably shared with everyone? What are the costs of adaptation and building resilient communities?
We’ll also look at how the climate justice fits within the levelling up agenda, and consider what a ‘just transition’ would look like in practice.
